BCB Exchange requires you to link a bank account to your BCB Exchange account to purchase cryptocurrencies. Using a bank account allows for higher limits (€1,000/transaction, €5,000/week), but it also takes longer to verify transactions, so you will not see money in your BCB Exchange wallet for two to four days (depending on your bank). The maximum bank transfers allowed is currently €5,000. And when selling Bitcoin, once the sale is confirmed, it takes up to four days for the proceeds of that sale to show up in your wallet. With a credit or debit card, limits are lower (€200/transaction, €1,000/week), but you can purchase digital currencies instantaneously when using credit or debit cards. The maximum credit card charge allowed is currently €200. For these types of transactions, Bitcoin shows up in your BCB Exchange wallet instantaneously. For BYC, once the selling or buying is confirmed, the proceeds shows up in your BCB Exchange wallet instantaneously.
